Summary 

Teachers develop supportive relationships with all of their students, define clear outcomes for student learning and communicate these clearly to their students, implement a range of research-based instructional and assessment strategies as needed to ensure quality learning by all students, and utilize such assessment data to inform their instruction. Regular communication with parents, peers, district personnel, and administration is essential.

Language Skills 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports or professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, staff, administrators, and general public 

 

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference, fractions, percentages, rations, and practical applications. 

 

Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand and talk or hear while sometimes walking and sitting. The employee may occasionally push or lift up to 40 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, or getting up and down from the floor is also required.
